It has come to my attention that certain companies operating illegally in montreal are using blogsites to promotes their product. This is the case of the prosititution industry. There is a site called merb.ca which allows members & guests to share experiences, advice, etc... about their own dealings with call girls.

The merchants... are taking advantage of the situation to advertize their "products and services". Some post pictures, others include price. Blogging has opened the door to illegal business such as these to operate freely over and above the law.

At what price? One could argue the ethical issues at stake.

If there is ONE good thing, this type of internet site allows sex workers to voice their opinions about the trade and gives us an in depth look at the industry, up close and personal.
